Theres no minimum value which u should invest. (I have stated this in my articles several times.) But u'll have to spend a sum atleast to get some good shares.

2 cn i deal only through the internet?

U can deal with internet trading, after u have a internet trading account obtained by your broker. but most brokers ask for a min investment (eg:100,000 or so) for giving u internet trading. But u'll always have to contact your advisor to get stock recommendations and information.

3 security, trust of this process?
